✨AI Insights On Job Edit/Creation
Sidekick has the ability to give you various insights on your job. To set this up, whilst on the job edit or job creation section of the ATS, click the "AI Insights" tickbox.

If you are using Sidekick AI but do not want candidates to upload a CV as part of their application, it’s important to ensure that Career and Work History is switched on via the Application Flow, under “Step 2: Profile Builder” when creating your job. Sidekick needs either a CV or work/education history to generate a meaningful candidate score.

Whilst editing or creating a job, Sidekick also has the ability to generate a suggested salary for your role based on the job title. To do this simply click on "Generate Salary".

Once you have completed the rest of your initial job creation steps, scroll to the bottom of the page & click "Next".

🔮 Drafting Job Descriptions With Sidekick AI
When creating your Job Description, you have the option to use Sidekick to help draft this for you. To do this, simply click the "Draft with AI" buttton.

You will now see an AI generated job description created for you - if needed you can also make edits to this yourself also.

If you are unhappy with the first AI generated job description you have the ability to regenerate this. To do this simply click the "Regenerate" buttton.

After clicking regenerate, you will now see a second draft of your AI suggested job description.

➕ Add AI Generated Skills To A Job
Once you have added your job description, scroll to the bottom of the page where you will see the option to generate AI suggested skills for this role.

To do this, click on the "Generate with AI" button.

You will now see a list of suggested skills for your job role, with a list of low, medium or high priority status. You will also notice that you can delete skills.

To change the priority of a skill, simply click on low, medium or high - as appropriate.

Repeat as needed.

Once you are happy with your selections, click "Next".

💫 Candidate AI Insights
Whilst on a job, you will see an AI Application Score next to your candidates. If you hover over this you will see a quick overview. If you would like to see a full view, simply click on the score, to open up their mini profile.

➡️ How Sidekick AI Candidate Scoring Works
Sidekick AI generates a candidate score by analysing the information available in their application. The score can be created using:
- A CV upload, or
- Work history and education entered manually by the candidate,
- Or a combination of both

Sidekick only needs one of these data sources to produce a score, and it will always use the richest information available.
➡️ How the score behaves in different scenarios
- CV uploaded at application stage
Sidekick uses the CV as the primary source. This usually results in the most detailed and accurate score, as CVs typically contain richer information than manually typed fields. - No CV, but work history and/or education entered manually
Sidekick uses the entered work and education data to generate a score. This still produces a valid score as long as there is enough information provided. - Anonymised applications
If CV upload is disabled, candidates must enter work and education history manually. Sidekick will use this data to create the score.
If anonymisation is on but the candidate still uploads a CV (which can happen depending on configuration), the CV will override the manual fields and be used for scoring. - Candidate uploads a CV later (via their profile)
If a candidate adds or updates their CV after an initial application, Sidekick can then use this updated information for future applications, resulting in a more complete score.
Tribepad supports the following file types for successful CV parsing when using Sidekick:
- .png
- .jpg
- .jpeg
- .bmp
- .doc
- .docx
- .odt
- .rtf
- .odp
- ppt
- .pptx
If needed, you have the ability to remove your AI score from a job. To do this, click the "Remove AI Score" button.

As you can see, the AI score will now be hidden. Please Note: this will not hide AI insights from the mini profile, only the score on the candidate list.

To add an AI Score back onto your candidate list, simply re-click the "Add AI Score" button.

You’ll now see a Sidekick Feedback section on the candidate’s profile. This gives you a full set of AI insights, including:
-
A candidate score
-
A full strengths and weaknesses analysis
-
Suggested interview questions
-
Matched skills and a detailed summary
-
The option to ask Sidekick AI questions about the candidate directly

To ask Sidekick questions about the candidate, click the "Ask AI-powered questions about this candidate's profile to get insights" field.

Type your question, and click "Ask".

You will now see an answer based on the question that you asked.

If you scroll down, you can read a full summary on the candidate.

Followed by a summary of "Matched Skills" and a Strengths & Weaknesses Analysis.

Sidekick will also generate a selection of potential Interview questions for you to use based on the candidates profile and role that they have applied for.

Once you get to the bottom of the mini profile you will see the option to give Sidekick feedback. This helps the tool to improve, the more you use it and feedback the better it will be.
