Find out how to link your jobs to multiple locations
There may be times when you need to advertise a role across multiple locations. Our new Multi Location feature allows you to do just that.
Please note - this is a free-of-charge permission, but is enabled on an individual basis.
If this is a feature that you are interested in, please speak to your Account Manager or contact our Support Team who will be able to do this for you.
Once enabled, this function can be applied to job templates, existing jobs or new jobs created in the ATS.
Creating a secondary location
Under the ‘Location’ section of the template / Job Create, you will see an additional option to add a secondary location:
Hovering over the ‘?’ next to the ‘Add secondary location’ option, will provide you with information on what the secondary location can be used for:
Please note - A primary location is needed before adding a secondary location, i.e. the original Location field must still be populated.
To add an additional location, click on ‘+ Add secondary location’.
- This will add in an additional field where you should enter the town and postcode:
- The town and postcode for the additional location are used for job searching.
You can add multiple locations by selecting the ‘Add secondary location’ button again:
If you need to delete a secondary location, simply select the bin icon on the right-hand side of the page:
Please note - There is no option to use the map for additional locations:
The map links to Google Maps on an advert, and only 1 location can be specified using this functionality.Viewing the locations
You can see the locations (once saved), in several different places.
- On the job, below the candidate information and the Apply and Job page URLs:
- On the Jobs list, by hovering over the job location:
- On the Careers page on the specific job:
Please note - the map detailed on the Careers page only relates to the Primary location, as detailed above.
Searching on the Careers Page
Using the search function on the Careers page, will now link to the multiple locations that have been detailed on a job.
Important Points to Note
- The multiple locations will show on the V2 job search, but do not currently show on the advert that is on the old job search pages
- The additional locations will not be sent to any job boards, such as Indeed
- This is a limitation on the job boards, not on Tribepad.

- The map will only show for the primary location
- If there are to be interviews at different locations, these need to be set up as separate blocks, as they would currently
- This is not currently available on the Job Requisition template, only on Job Create
- A workaround for this would be to include a Custom Field on the Job Req template, to include the additional location within the subsequent job advert.
