📋Introduction To Questionnaires
Tribepad supports both Standard, Branching & Hybrid questionnaires.
- Standard
- Each question follows the previous question that has been asked.
- Branching
- Tailor questions for candidates based on an individual’s answers.
- Hybrid
- This is a mixture of standard and branching.
There are several types of questionnaire that you can make use of:
- Campaign planning
- For recording job related information such as budget or reasons for advertising for example.

- Pre-screening
- This type of questionnaire can be aligned to the candidate application journey.
- With questions that will help you to determine which candidates can be progressed further or perhaps provided with a polite rejection.
- Shortlisting
- This could be used for recording more detailed information as to why you are shortlisting a candidate.
- CV feedback
- This could be used by the hiring manager to provide the recruiter with feedback on each candidate.
- Interview feedback
- This could be used to record details about the candidate and how they performed in the interview.
- Offer
- Use this to record details about the offer you are making to a candidate.
- Referral
- This type of questionnaire should be used to track and record who has referred a candidate.
- Onboarding
- This questionnaire will only be available if you use our onboarding software as part of your contract with Tribepad.
- It has many purposes however, an example may be setting up questions to ensure all candidate onboarding requirements have been fulfilled before their start date.
- Integrations with third parties
- Tribepad also allows the integration with a number of 3rd party organisations that offer personality and behavioral style questionnaires.
- Equal Opportunities
- This questionnaire can be used to ask questions and capture data relating to Diversity in relation to your candidates.
Our questionnaires also allow you to automate certain actions based around any scoring criteria that you may have aligned to the questions that make up your questionnaire (e.g. If a candidate scores less than X they will be automatically rejected from the recruitment process).

❓Introduction To Questions
There are 10 different question types for you to use in any questionnaires that you create.
- Radio Buttons
- The respondent may select only one answer using the radio button.
- Checkbox
- The respondent may select one or even multiple options from the checkbox that has been provided.
- Drop-down list
- The respondent is presented with a list of options and they may only select one.
- Single Field
- A typed answer is entered into a single field, suitable for short answers.
- Textarea
- A typed answer is entered into a text box, suitable for long answers (multiple sentences).
- SJT (Situational Judgement Test)
- Provide the respondent with a work-based scenario and possible solutions for them to choose from to see how they react in certain situations.
- Referral
- This option captures referrer information so that you can see if a candidate has been referred to a role you are recruiting for.
- Important if you pay referral fees.
- Grid
- Much like the SJT question type this could be used to provide the respondent with a number of choices, perhaps you need to see what shifts they may be available for.
- The respondent can choose more than one option.
- Content Box
- This option is suitable for providing a large amount of text, perhaps a disclaimer for the respondent to read before starting the questionnaire.
- File Upload
- Allows the respondent to upload a file, perhaps to provide you with evidence of a qualification.
